Step 1: Press the two molds together firmly on the ridge at the base of the top half of each sphere to prevent water from going between the cavities.

Step 2: Fill the top part with water almost all the way up, but do not submerge the sphere to prevent the water from freezing and sticking together. This is to maintain pressure on both molds.

Step 3: Pour purified water into the ice cube trays using a funnel. It's not necessary to fill the sphere to the top. Move the ice cube trays to the refrigerator after all work is completed.
